Adapted for mechanical tiller systems, these linear power units are characterized by high torque, fast response, and quiet operation. Installed below deck, they control the tiller by acting directly on the tiller arm (not included) or on the tiller itself. This long-stroke, type 2 linear power unit is compatible with Evolution EV-400 autopilots. It delivers 480 kg of thrust and is suitable for boats up to 20,000 kg displacement with reversible mechanical tillers. It has a 400 mm stroke, a lock-to-lock time of 14 seconds, and a maximum torque of 1660 Nm. It operates on 12 volts.
