Chafe-Pro’s Megayacht Series is ideal for protecting a yacht’s mooring lines from pier and/or chock abrasion. The Megayacht Series is constructed of multiple layers of FJORD, Inc.’s specially formulated and designed heavy-duty nylon weaves. The layering technique used in the Megayacht Series is designed to provide maximum flexibility and ease of application, and also provide long chafe-resistant service. Abrasion testing has shown Chafe-Pro’s Megayacht Series to be more resistant to chafe abrasion than marine-grade fire hose and chafing gear made from such materials as HMW-PE (polyethylene), Kevlar, etc.Embroider reduced Chafe-Pro’s Megayacht Series is available in standard and custom lengths. All models are downward compatible to line size and all dimensions are nominal. The standard color is black and custom embroidering is available.
